A great “first” book for young children as healthy habits are being formed! The illustrations are also perfect in keeping the attention of toddlers at story time! The best thing about this book is teaching that “healthy” comes in so many forms, from inside and out. It truly helps shape being “the best that you can be”, and instilling self confidence. Highly recommend!
Well written book with nice illustrations. I bought this to use in my classroom. My students were very receptive, and it is wonderful, supportive language for building a healthy relationship with yourself and your body for young kids, and even older kids with disabilities. My severe, profound middle school exceptional children class has been using this book regularly all month since I purchased it.
